Two options are being considered:
1. Organic growth - this will see formation of a new Club entering at Level 12 of the football pyramid. With the ambition to be the first club to move from this level to the Premier league (and Europe thereafter of course).
2. Merger or acquisition - this will see buy out of a failing established Club. Naturally, those with long standing history's would be avoided. An example is Bury FC in level 9 of the pyramid. This will allow us to leap frog lower divisions. Fans of clubs would be consulted widely before any such move. Loyalty of fans is always our first priority.
Did you know?
Manchester United were formed in 1878 as Newton Heath LYR Football Club. In January 1902, they were a failing Club about to go bust and were rescued and renamed as Manchester United.
Manchester City were formed as St Mark's, merged and de-merged with another club called Belle Vue. They then change their name to Gorton Association F.C, then to Ardwick A.F.C. and finally to Manchester City Football Club.
Like most big Euopean Clubs - both teams have changed owner, club names, club colours and stadium homes.
